Lucy Ethiopian Cafe: Boston, MA.

July 25, 2012 by Katie

Apparently we’re on an African kick this week–with the Macy’s Path to Peace program and now a great Ethiopian restaurant  in Boston.  We went to Lucy’s last week–and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve head Ethiopian food in Africa–but never in America. While Lucy Ethiopian Cafe doesn’t have some of the athmopshere that some of the other restaurants have, but the food is good. And, really, that’s what I’m going for!

The injara was a little sour and spoungy–just like I like it. The menu was small, but varied and offered great vegetarian options. My husband had the hummus wrap–he said it was tasty and filling.

I had a vegetarian platter–filling and wonderful. I can’t wait to go back for the traditional tea ceremony they offer on the weekends!
