Fenway!

September 27, 2012 by Katie

So the Boston Red Sox haven’t had the greatest season – but we went to a game at Fenway a couple of weeks ago and it was really neat to be at such a historic baseball stadium!

We’re still adjusting to life in the U.S.–which includes re-educating ourselves on America’s favorite past-time. I embarrassingly had to text my brother mid-game to find out how many innings they played.

I wasn’t sure what I would find to eat–but they did have a food stand that offered healthy options. It was right next to a beer stand – which had a line 30+ people long. I guess the benefit of going for a veggie dog at a major league baseball game is that you don’t have the fight the crowds. The “healthy options” (should a veggie dog really be classified as “healthy”?) had no line. I was disappointed this stand wasn’t more popular— and also thankful not to have to stand in line!

Do you splurge when you go to events like this? Or try to eat healthy?
