DIY Sorbet.
February 12, 2011 by CarolinaConfession: I have a huge sweet tooth & ice cream is my downfall. I crave it all the time, could probably have it at every meal which would probably not be a good thing. All this to say that I ran out of ice cream & was majorly craving it but did not want to leave the house (I was in my most comfortable PJs & had a pile of homework to do)…so I took matters into my own hands. Enter homemade sorbet.
Ingredients
6 Strawberries, diced
5 Orange Juice Ice Cubes
1 TBS Agave Nectar
Take the OJ ice cubes out of the freezer while you get the strawberries washed & diced. Place the cubes, strawberries & agave nectar in the blender & pulse until ingredients are fully combined into sorbet consistency (about 3-4 minutes).
Cheap & healthy dessert, what can be better? Buen provecho!
