Pumpkin Spice Latte.
October 30, 2011 by CarolinaIt’s true: We don’t really get seasons in Florida. At this point of the year most of the country is experiencing the changing of the leaves, crisp Fall air, cooler nights…makes me jealous. Though we don’t technically get to experience Fall here we do get all the delicious pumpkin treats of the season — I love pumpkin season! Pies, tortes, treats, seeds & most importantly pumpkin spice latte.
When October/November hits I become Starbucks’ best customer; starting the morning with a cup of pumpkin spice latte is the way to go. This makes my taste buds happy, my wallet? Not so much, it can get pricey. Lucky for me, Godiva was kind enough to give me some delicious Pumpkin Coffee to try — It’s pumpkin goodness in a bag! I decided to play barista & came up with my own version of Pumpkin Spice Latte, now you too can make it at home. Get ready for a taste of Fall!
Ingredients (makes 2 awesome lattes)
2 cups Godiva pumpkin spice coffee, brewed
2 cups vanilla almond milk
1 teaspoon caramel coffee syrup
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of ground cinammon
Pinch of nutmeg
Dallop whipped cream
Begin by brewing the Godiva pumpkin spice coffee, almost immediately amazing coffee smell will greet your kitchen. Yes!
In a pot, bring the vanilla almond milk, vanilla coffee syrup, sugar (or stevia), vanilla extract & pumpkin pie spice to a boil. Stir for 2 minutes & remove from heat. Whisk or blend the milk mixture until its frothy. I used my trusty Magic Bullet blender & it worked perfectly. Pour frothy milk on top of the Godiva pumpkin spice coffee.
Top with dallop of whipped cream, a swirl of caramel coffee syrup & pumpkin pie spice for garnish & enjoy. Delicious, seasonal coffee you’ll love.
What’s your favorite coffee drink? Are you a pumpkin-flavored coffee fan?
Disclosure: I was provided complimentary Godiva seasonal coffee samples through the Foodbuzz Tastemakers Program. I was not required to provide a positive or negative review; all opinions are my own.

As soon as it gets remotely cool in Orlando I get hot pumpkin spice lattes while I can. You never know how long it will last!
