Chocolate Biscotti.

These are super tasty! Especially with a nice cup of coffee. With the way we drink coffee and love chocolate, these didn’t last long at our house!

Chocolate Biscotti

1-2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup good quality unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup greek yogurt (or plain yougurt)
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
2 large eggs


Preheat oven to 375°. Grease a baking sheet.

Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Add yogurt and mix. Gradually add eggs to the mixture.

Use a wooden spatula to transfer dough to baking sheets, creating two or three loafs (they look a lot like big lumps). Place on the lined baking sheets and bake 20 minutes.

When cool enough to handle, gently cut the loaves on the angle into 1/2 inch slices with a serrated knife.

Return to the baking sheets fitting as many as you can. You may need to do this in batches. Bake the biscotti for another 3-4 minutes on each side. Enjoy!
