A Little Cheese with Your Wine.

May 7, 2011 by Carolina

My amazing friend Kacie & I just finished our first year of Grad School & were itching to celebrate. I had the girls over for a wine night & put together a cheese tray for us to enjoy with our drinks, inspired by Foodie Fresh. Here’s how I built mine…

Cheese Plate Ingredients

Manchego (By far one of my favorite cheeses!)

Brie

Gruyere

Pear Preserves

Fuji Apples (to feed my addiction)

Baguette Croutons

Sesame Seed Crackers

Red Pepper Hummus

Wonderful Friends

Perfect combination of cheese, wine & good fun. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Buen provecho!

  1. Yay! Isn’t cheese wonderful? :) Congrats on finishing your first year – that’s quite an accomplishment! You’re half-way there!

  2. I love cheese so much, thanks for this idea, the girls loved it!

  3. Cheese platters are such a girl thing :) , my inlaws still mock me bc the first xmas we spend together I was glued to the cheese platter

  4. Haha how could you resist? Cheese is so great! Of course you were glued to the cheese platter, I would of been too haha

  5. Please, the only way I got through grad school at NYU was drowning my late night cravings in cheese from Murray’s Cheese Shop. If you want to add a little something interesting to your plate in the future, try this pistachio brittle with goat cheese: http://bit.ly/kVceMk

  6. Dana — I love Murray’s! This brittle looks amazing btw, thanks for the recipe!
