Total Wine Education.

By now you probably know that I love wine, I mean, what’s not to love? It’s fruity, bold & goes great with any meal, win win! I recently discovered Total Wine, one of my favorite wine, beer & spirits store, offers wine classes & just had to go check them out. This past weekend I took advantage of September’s class: The Sexy Wines of Spain & Portugal. You can check a full schedule of their classes, offered nationwide, here.
I was happily surprised by Total Wine’s education system. Each store has a class in the back where they walk you through a detailed presentation highlighting the wines you taste, discussing the region, the grapes, pairings, etc. In all we tasted about 8 wines, ranging from white to sweet reds, all with something unique to offer. I would recommend taking a class with a group of your friends, or even go for a date, it’s a lot of fun. By the end of the class you walk away with a little more knowledge of the wonderful world of wines (or beer or spirits, depending on what class you choose to take), with a smile on your face (who isn’t smiling after trying 8 wines!) & a few bottles at a discounted rate (you get a discount for taking the class). In all, a fun experience, we recommend it!
