Have you heard of GoodBelly? In case you haven’t, let us introduce you. GoodBelly is a line of probiotic drinks that are 100% dairy-free, soy-free & vegan, in other words, they’re drinks that are really good for you. I’m sure you’re probably asking yourself, what are probiotic drinks? And why should I drink them? Probiotic drinks help maintain a healthy digestive system by helping it maintain a balanced environment. Probiotics help maintain bacteria levels where they need to be, encouraging good, active digestion all day long.
Good digestive health is one of the keys to overall wellness & you know both Katie & I are all about that, so when GoodBelly sent us some of their drinks to try out we were happy to give these a go. Here at Peas in a Blog we’re passionate about only sharing with you products we have tried & believe in ourselves, & after our experience with GoodBelly we are both loving the product — & now have the amazing opportunity to share it with you. Check out our experiences:
You know I love me some challenges so I was all over GoodBelly’s 12 Day Challenge. The challenge was simple: drink 8oz of GoodBelly everyday for 12 days & see firsthand how probiotic drinks help your digestive system. For the challenge, I drank the Mango & Acai juices for 12 days, had a glass first thing in the morning. I wasn’t sure how the juices were going to taste but was happy to discover they taste great, they’re fruity & refreshing, the perfect accompaniment to breakfast of even a meal. Throughout the challenge I definitely noticed a difference, I was much more regular, even felt a little lighter. GoodBelly made me a probiotics fan! I saw the benefits firsthand, loved the way I felt while drinking GoodBelly.
While I didn’t do the challenge – I really enjoyed the juice. I’ve had great experiences with probiotics – although they aren’t well-known in the US, we used them a lot living in South Africa. Anytime we were given antibiotics, we also got a dose of probiotics. So I was familiar with the health benefits. Tropical Green flavor was a huge hit at our house – but all of the flavors we tried were really tasty. I eat greek yogurt almost everyday. But throughout my pregnancy there have been days that I just couldn’t eat another bite of yogurt – so GoodBelly is a great alternative for probiotics. Plus, I love that it’s vegan!
