Vegetarian & Vegan Online Resources.

September 7, 2012 by Katie

At Peas in a Blog, we’re all about vegetarian food and fitness. But, we know that a lot of our readers aren’t totally vegetarians. Some of you just like incorporating more veggies into your diet–and vegetarian recipes are a great way to do that. If you are looking to have a more veggie-friendly diet, there are a variety of resources all over the internet (besides Peas in a Blog, of course :) ).

We’ve already written about Pinterest–and how the popular site has a ton of inspiration. Here are some other great sites:

1. Meat-Free Mondays

The Meat Free Mondays website has great resources if you are looking to eat meat-free on Mondays (or any day of the week). They have great recipes and ideas from celebrity chefs for incorporating more veggies into your diet. If you are looking for summer BBQ recipes, they have some of those too.

2. VegNews

VegNews, a vegan lifestyle magazine offers the latest in meat-free news, food, travel, politics, and buzz. In addition to its print publication, the vegan media company also produces the award-winning VegNews.com along with a collection of popular e-newsletters, blogs, cookbooks, events, and vacations.

3. PETA

Regardless of how you feel about PETA–their website has some great resources for becoming vegetarian and recipes to get you started. They even offer a free vegetarian/vegan starter kit to help you get started–if you’d like to try to take the plunge!

Are you vegetarian? Or do you just try to add a lot of veggies to your diet? What resources have you found helpful?
