The Briarpatch, Winter Park, FL.
February 21, 2011 by CarolinaNot only are Marc & Katie in town, so are my friends from Miami. After running the 5K yesterday (post to come on that) we all headed to my favorite brunch place, The Briarpatch, in Winter Park.
The Briarpatch is hands down the best brunch place in Orlando. Located in quaint Park Avenue, the restaurant is tucked in the middle of great shopping & right across the park. Their brunch menu is excellent; it has a little bit of everything. Katie went with the eggs benedict.
Marc (Katie’s husband) & I opted for the portabello & brie stuff omelette.
The rest of the table opted for spinach/sausage & mashed potato omelettes (our meat eating friends loved them), french toasts, home fries…everyone really enjoyed their meal. The Briarpatch has never failed me; I’ve always had great food there.
If you’re in the mood of dessert The Briarpatch will hook you up with delicious ice cream (it’s incredible) or cake slices as big as your head, can’t go wrong there.
In all, next time you’re in Orlando stop by The Briarpatch & enjoy their food, location & atmosphere. Briarpatch definitely has good peas.
