Ethos Vegan Kitchen: Winter Park, FL.
September 14, 2012 by CarolinaHere in Orlando there are not many 100% vegetarian or vegan places, however, we do have a great restaurant in town that never disappoints: Ethos Vegan Kitchen. After years of being in downtown Orlando Ethos recently moved to Winter Park & I was curious if they had made any changes. Last night I was in the neighborhood & decided to check it out for dinner. I love the brunch at Ethos Vegan Kitchen & am happy to report the dinner selections are just as delicious.
One noticeable change Ethos has made to the Winter Park location is they now have servers help you. At the downtown location you ordered in the front, they gave you a number & the food came to you. At this new Winter Park location hostesses walk you to your table & a friendly server takes care of you. After sitting down we were ready to chow down. My friend ordered a bowl of the soup of the day which happened to be Hearty Vegetarian: a mix of fresh vegetables including carrots, green beans, potatoes, all in a delicious broth & served with a toast.
She also ordered the Coconut Curry Wrap: Grilled tofu coated in curried veganaise, tossed with celery, raisins, walnuts, coconut & mixed greens, wrapped in a spinach tortilla.
I wanted something light so I went with the Ethos Garden Salad: Mixed spring greens loaded with artichoke hearts, vine ripe tomatoes, black olives, sprouts, red onions, carrots, cucumbers & broccoli with your choice of dressing. Our waitress kept raving about the ranch so I decided to go with that — she was right, vegan ranch never tasted so good!
I love Ethos‘s commitment to serving vegan, hearty, comforting food made with mainly organic ingredients. Next time you’re in the Winter Park area stop by, they’ll take care of you!

I love that coconut curry wrap at Ethos! I’ve also heard their pizza is really good, but I haven’t tried it yet.
