Yoga for Detox.

I’ll be honest, I enjoyed seconds & thirds at yesterday’s Thanksgiving meal. Who can blame me? My mom, sister & I are pretty good cooks if I do say so myself. And though I enjoyed every minute of my indulgence today I woke up feeling the need to work it off, to detox & reset my body. So this morning I went for a quick run & did a little yoga practice at home. Yoga is great to detox, the stretching & compressing of your body is perfect to aid in waste-removal after an indulgent day of eating…

And because yoga is centered around breathing & good posture, it’s also not only a great for physical detoxing but most importantly for metal detox. Disconnecting from the world outside & tuning in to your body will help you be aware of where you’re carrying stress & where you need a little extra stretching to release tension.
