Chalean Extreme: 30 Day Update.

The summer is here & you know what that means: Bikini season! I live in Florida, spend a lot of time at the pool or beach during the summer months & this year I’m totally pushing myself to feel more comfortable in a bikini. Enter Chalean Extreme. As you guys know by now, I’m in the middle of a 90 day fitness challenge with a small group of ladies. My fitness program of choice: Chalean Extreme. We started the challenge on May 7th & every 30 days we owe our Beachbody Coach measurements, weight & before & after pictures — talk about accountability!

The Chalean Extreme program is broken apart into three 30 day phases: Burn, Push, Lean. I just finished the Burn phase, the introduction to the program. Since last week was the 30 day mark so I submitted all materials to my coach. This past week I also started the Push phase, which is focused on heavier weights with less reps. I promised I would share my thoughts & progress with you (you’re coming with me on this journey!). Below are my results, based on measurements (learn how to take your own measurements at home by watching this video). That’s my Beachbody Coach in the video by the way — Hi Alli!

Chest: Down 1″
Right Arm: No Change
Right Leg: Down 0.5″
Waist 1: No Change
Waist 2: No Change
Waist 3: Down 1.25″
Hips: No Change
Inches Lost: 2.75″
Weight Lost: 5.2 lbs

First things first: Of course I lose inches off my chest, the one area I don’t want to lose any in, oy! That said, I’m almost down a whole 3″ — that’s awesome! I’m also down 5lbs, fitting into my favorite pair of skinny jeans & most importantly feeling strong. I can definitely see a difference in my shoulders & my abs, I’m even starting to see little itty bitty lines in that area, an absolute miracle for me. Ha!

I enjoyed the Burn phase but just a week into the Push phase I can tell it’s going to be challenging, my muscles are definitely feeling it. I will be checking in with you all 30 days from now to tell you how the next phase treats me. Here’s to progress in fitness!
